Definition – What is the meaning of Aeroponics?

Aeroponics is an inside gardening method in which some vegetation is grown and sustained by suspending their root compositions in air and routinely spraying them with a nutrient and water infusion.

Soil is not utilized for aeroponics, because the vegetation can flourish when their roots are constantly or sometimes reveled to a nutrient spray.

Aeroponics provides a good means to grow vegetation, without putting them in pots and repotting them to flourish their need to nutrient-rich soil.

A study by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has been conducted to test the effectiveness of aeroponics on the Mir space station. The results reveled that Asian bean seedlings could grow productively in a nutrient infusion in zero gravity situation.

Plants are sustained in the air in encompassed frames that allows the roots and leaf tips to be able to grow up and down accordingly. A lot of aeroponic systems appear alike to customary potted plant systems, the main difference is that the canisters for the plants are isolated around the plants’ bases and have a closed off domain for the root systems.
